Delta Serpentis : GTA Weaponry : Missiles

MX-50 -

The MX-50 is a heat-seeking missile. Do as the descriptions says: Fire and forget it.

Fury -

The Fury is a dumbfire missile. This means that you must take aim before you fire. These Missiles are very fast and can be used in the same way as a laser weapon.

Disruptor -

This missile serves the same purpose as the Disruptor Cannon. It can only destroy subsystems, so use it when you do not want to destroy a particular ship.

Hornet -

These are aspect-seeking missiles which are fired at a rate of 4 Missiles per round. They are basically useless when fired without an aspect lock.

Interceptor -

The Interceptor Missile is also an aspect-seeking missile. You can acquire a target at 1000 km. It becomes more effective the closer your target is.

Phoenix V -

The Phoenix V is also an aspect-seeking missile. It is one of the best choices for dogfights which involve hostile bombers.

Synaptic -

The Synaptic Cluster Bomb is fired in the same way as a missile, however, it will diffuse when it is within 100 m of its target.

Stiletto -

The stiletto Bomb is useful for destroying subsystems. It is an aspect-seeking missile which causes only light hull damage.

Tsunami -

The Tsunami Bomb is the first antimatter bomb designed by the GTA. It is powered by hyperreactive substances which make its blast radius very large. The Tsunami cannot be fired without an aspect lock.

Harbinger -

The Harbinger Bomb is the GTA's most powerful bomb. Because it is a nuclear weapon, you do not want to be anywhere near the detonation. These bombs carry a 5000 megaton payload and are extremely powerful. Use them well.
